I quickly learned that stepping outside of the Toronto healthcare system to interact with patients from rural communities is extremely valuable for medical trainees, and I think it should be encouraged a lot more for students at @uoftmedicine @UofTMDprogram

We found that about 30% of military veterans from the general population live with chronic non-cancer pain. Our study re-enforces the importance of ensuring veterans have access to evidence-based care to manage their chronic pain. @MilitaryH_BMJ militaryhealth.bmj.com/content/early/…
