The IDF says Hezbollah fired rockets at Israeli forces in southern Lebanon and launched a drone toward Israeli territory Israel struck the launcher within minutes and intercepted the drone before it crossed the border. That's a meaningful shift in how Europe applies pressure. The context: Iran shut down the strait on February 28, cutting off roughly one-fifth of global oil and LNG supplies. The EU already designated the IRGC as a terrorist organisation in January. Now ambassadors have agreed to expand the criteria to list those directly responsible for obstructing freedom of navigation.
