We lost $38 on Ozempic recently. Patient actually showed me his EOB from his Medicare Part-D plan. Plan paid over $1,200 PBM paid our pharmacy $876 and pocketed the spread, which was well over $300 for one drug. If you aren’t enraged by this: unfollow me right now.

What pharmacist wants to work for a company that covets profits over its people and patients? Short/no lunch breaks, cuts in technician hours, and generally requiring additional responsibilities without adequate staff (ie. Covid and flu vaccines).

I guess CVS and Walmart forgot to speak with their employees first… There’s no shortage of pharmacists, these companies simply don’t provide adequate resources to run the pharmacy.

Everyone once in a while the group laughs, and I find myself awkwardly laughing as well so I feel part of the group. But I'm at home. Laughing by myself. At conversation I can't hear. With two cats staring at me.
