NO, You are deflecting from the real issue. No state has ever labeled Pashtuns as "traitors". Yes, PTM is an enemy agent—a proxy for Afghans—and therefore anti‑state. It should be called out for what it is: traitorous.
In some Pashtun regions, including the tribal areas of Balochistan, Waziristan’s Masood, Dawar, and Wazir tribes have long followed and enjoyed a way of life I call “jungle law”: a code of Pashtunwali and a conservative ideology that has prevented education, integration into modern statehood, and perpetuated tribal enmities such as "badal" (revenge), leading to endless infighting.
Above all, due to their border with Afghanistan, they were radicalized by geopolitical upheavals, from which they also benefited—for example, through smuggling, narcotics, and extortion from foreign militants. Externalizing their anti‑education, anti‑women, and anti‑state authority traits onto the Pakistani state is simply a deflection from self‑awareness.
The same state provided these tribes with opportunities in education, business, trade, and politics, particularly in Karachi. In fact, most businesses in Karachi are controlled by people from Waziristan. They are MNAs and MPAs and form a thriving community. PTM was initially more popular in Karachi than in Waziristan when it claimed to be a human rights group before becoming a proxy.
Pakistan has given the best generational opportunity by mainstreaming the former FATA into KP, so that over time their funding, governance, and social progress will improve and reach parity with settled districts.
Playing the victim card, acting as proxies, blaming the state, and promoting separatism are no solutions.
It is time for Pashtun communities—from Mohmand in the north to Chaman in Balochistan—to accept some criticism of themselves and stop waiting for a “messiah.”
No state is perfect they should strive to make Pakistan a perfect state by owning their destiny.

Days ago, I said the current Pakistani government is truly terrible, and this is just more proof.
They lied to Iran, claiming ten ships were Pakistani — flew Pakistani flags on them and everything. Iran gave them a free pass, but those ships were American. Once they cleared the strait, the Pakistanis just handed them over to the U.S.
When I see stuff like that, I can't help but wonder how much the current Pakistani government has pulled the same shady shit when dealing with the Taliban or the BLA. I'm not saying the Taliban or the BLA are nice guys, but when the Pakistan government they're dealing with has such a low credibility, you can hardly blame them only when things finally blow up.
