@TheVoidwalker09 Yeah I pretty much only use it to grab free games myself. The GenAI stuff only makes me want to interact with anything beyond that even less Kinda regret buying a few games off them sometimes. Did it back when they had their $10 off coupons

@ShawnRazor Idk but I'm just so unwilling to even touch the EGS for some reason, I don't think embracing GenAI will help their case.

They finally fixed their store and all it took was embracing GenAI

Really excited for this DLC to come out actually I don't go super into 40K, but I've always been a fan of the Mechanicus since tech wizards have always been a sick ass concept to me. That, and that rifle just looks clean as hell Nice to see how far Darktide's come since launch

It's such a shame because both Loveless and C4SH look like genuinely awesome vault hunters, but I'm not paying 80 fucking Canadian stones to play them

Lowkey sense of scale is such a massive plus to me in games. Being able to sense the overwhelming size of environments or major events matters a lot One of major reasons the final battle cutscene of Mass Effect 3 is my favorite cutscene ever

Usually have one or two demos from each Next Fest that I was excited for but end up being disappointing, and I'm kinda sad to say that Valor Mortis is the one this time around Really enjoyed both Ghostrunner games, but something about this game just way too stiff IMO

@Crystar800 Ooh good call on Tower Wizard, I still gotta try that one But yeah, you right on the prestiging needing to feel good. Honestly think that's a lot of why I liked Digseum and especially enjoyed Nodebuster. Needs to be a good flow state to the whole thing

@ShawnRazor I liked Tower Wizard too, but like I wrote on Scritchy Scratchy, it nudged you towards prestiging in a way that doesn’t feel shitty and let’s you re-establish yourself quickly on a fresh run. Earning the ability to go idle is also part of it. More need to follow that imo

It feels like incremental games are going the same route as bullet heaven games did A few kick things off very well, then you get a few good but some bloat, followed by a later Next Fest seeing them grilled into far less prominence Incremental games seem to be at stage 2 atm
