Prioritize passion over money when creating games, please. If you love game development and want to make it a sustainable career in the future you got to love the subject. Game Development takes time, if you dont have the passion to wait, you cant get the sweet benefits from it. Let's take Minecraft as an example. The game was made purely as a passion project, he just wanted to create a building game that we now know as the most popular game, ever. If Notch from the beginning only thought about the money, the game would never reach the highs it did.
