We’re currently experiencing technical difficulties with our rather complex machines in the datacenter. This is causing downtime for our website and community. User sites are not affected. We’re looking in to resolving the hardware issues ASAP and apologise for any inconvenience.

@RotationlSymtry Yup, it can. To mods it’d show up as any other post, but highlighted in red. (Pending approval). You can choose if it’s moderated per topic, per post, only for certain member groups; etc. Pending posts also shows up in the Moderation Center. See our online manual for more info.

...we need messages to *also* be visible to moderators (so they would be "direct messages" but not "private messages"). We are total newbies; can @SimpleMachines do what we need?

@SimpleMachines I'm looking for a platform I can use to create an online community whose users will mostly be kids. In order to protect users from inappropriate content we need a high level of moderation: every post needs to automatically go into a moderation queue, &... 1/2

Maybe the researchers just ran a grep for “md5” in the codebase and drew their conclusions? Heh.
