I used to be a Democrat, but who cares? I took down a corrupt political empire and put men on death row. Stephen Goldfinch is a liberal lawyer legislator who votes for pro-choice judges has only seen the inside of a courtroom when he was federally indicted for a stem cell scam. David Stumbo let a man who raped and murdered a two-year child off of death row. Both are weak. Yeah, I was a Democrat, but I was always more conservative than these guys.

The Truth About Liberal Lawyer Legislator Stephen Goldfinch Stephen Goldfinch wants this race to be about one thing: that I used to be a Democrat. He repeats it over and over because he does not want you looking at his record. He does not want you asking what kind of Republican he actually is. Even when I was a Democrat, I was more conservative than Stephen Goldfinch. Goldfinch is a liberal lawyer-legislator. He represents everything that is wrong with the system in Columbia. He talks like a Republican when it is convenient, but his record shows something very different. Start with judges. Goldfinch has repeatedly backed liberal, pro-choice, activist judicial candidates. He supported former Democratic Representative James Smith for a judgeship, a hard core pro-choice lawyer legislator. When that nomination was challenged, Goldfinch was on the side trying to keep it alive. He also supported the effort to elevate Milton Kimpson, the brother of liberal Senator Marlon Kimpson, to the bench. That is not about qualifications. That is about connections. That is how the lawyer-legislator system works. They promote their friends, protect their network, and call it process. Goldfinch has also supported DEI training standards for judges. That tells you exactly where he stands. Conservatives want judges who follow the Constitution and apply the law as written. Goldfinch supports injecting political ideology into the judiciary. That is not conservatism. That is activism. Then there is the question of experience. Stephen Goldfinch has never prosecuted a case. He has never stood in a courtroom fighting for victims. The closest he has come to the inside of a courtroom was when he was federally indicted himself over a stem cell scam. That is not the background of someone who should be the chief prosecutor of this state. This race is not about what party someone used to belong to. It is about who is actually willing to enforce the law and who is part of the system that has failed to do it. Goldfinch is not an outsider. He is a product of that system. A lawyer-legislator who benefits from it and helps protect it. That system has left South Carolina overtaxed, overlawyered, and falling behind other states that have enacted real conservative reforms. It has created a culture where insiders take care of insiders and where accountability is inconsistent. Goldfinch is part of that culture. I am not. I led the Statehouse corruption probe that took down powerful politicians. I have put violent criminals on death row. I have taken positions that cost me politically because my values mattered more than party approval. That is the difference in this race. You can choose a liberal lawyer-legislator who talks like a conservative when it suits him. Or you can choose a prosecutor who has actually done the work and is willing to take on the system that Goldfinch represents. The truth about Stephen Goldfinch is not what he says. It is what he has done. It is what he is… a liberal lawyer legislator.

The weirdest part about the recent South Carolina GOP Attorney General debate that keeps running through my mind was when “Republican” AG candidate David Pascoe @davidpascoesc (who has been a registered Democrat his entire life) claimed to be against DEI candidates on the bench; however, in his rant defending himself, he confused the words “black” and “back.” Also, everything Pascoe said is a lie, as Pascoe supported Joe Biden, who went on to appoint a DEI Supreme Court Justice by the name of Ketanji Brown Jackson. Biden promised to appoint a Black woman to SCOTUS during his 2020 campaign, because he cares more about DEI than merit. Pascoe pretended to be outraged over the idea of someone supporting pro-choice judges, but Pascoe endorsed Joe Biden who said he wanted a black woman because “abortion is a right” and “black lives matter”, according to Biden. That’s what Pascoe endorsed when he endorsed @JoeBiden over Donald Trump in 2020. Pascoe went as far as calling Biden the best man he knows in politics. Not only is Pascoe a leftist liar, but he is also obsessed with DEI. He is a chameleon pretending to be a Republican. South Carolina GOP voters must reject this Democrat sleeper agent.

SCOOP: Joe Biden is on his way to South Carolina to celebrate the anniversary of his 2020 South Carolina Democrat Presidential Primary where a source tells me he is allegedly planning on having a secret meeting with Democrat David Pascoe @davidpascoesc, who just switched his voter registration from Democrat to Republican to run for South Carolina Attorney General on the GOP ticket. In 2020, Pascoe endorsed @JoeBiden for President over Donald Trump @realDonaldTrump. In a press release that was shared by Joe Biden, Pascoe said, “I have known Joe Biden personally for over a decade and followed his career for over thirty years. He is the most decent man I have ever met in American politics. I have never seen our country more divided in my lifetime than it is right now. I am all in for Joe because he can bring us together right away. It’s pretty clear that David Pascoe is a deceitful Democrat plant who is trying to deceive GOP voters in South Carolina so he can become the SC Attorney General and help the radical Left implement their agenda so it will be easier for Democrats to win future presidential primary elections in South Carolina. 🚨 ATTENTION SOUTH CAROLINA 🚨 During the South Carolina GOP Attorney General debate this week, “Republican” AG candidate David Pascoe @davidpascoesc called for a complete overhaul of law firms representing the state of South Carolina, saying: “I am going to make sure those civil cases are farmed out to law firms that actually know how to try cases.” Pascoe’s statement is significant because I recently highlighted how Hunter Biden’s lawyer Dick Harpootlian @HarpootlianSC endorsed and donated to Pascoe, who was a Democrat until last year. Pascoe endorsed Joe Biden over Trump and appears to had scrubbed his online footprint to hide his lifelong Democrat past from voters. It’s obvious that Democrats are attempting a coup of South Carolina’s judicial offices by pretending to be Republicans. South Carolina Republicans must reject Pascoe at the ballot box.
