Hello new Japanese friends! If you're curious about my posts about Christianity, here is a quick list about the most important things that Christians believe and why it's important! 1. Everyone has sinned. Feeling guilty, feeling like a failure or that you're never being good enough. This is the burden you feel from being imperfect. 2. There's good news! God knows that we aren't perfect and he knows that no matter how hard we try, we will never escape that guilt and burden. God also is perfect and holy and he can't be around imperfect, sinful humans. Something must be done to correct this and God knows that we can't do anything ourselves to be perfect and make things right to be holy so we can be near to God. 3. The solution! God came to earth to be born as a human named Jesus. He suffered everything people suffered, but he was still God, so he was the only perfect human. Because he suffered, he understands our pain, but he was perfect, so he could do what we couldn't, bring us to God himself. Jesus laid down his life, felt the crushing weight of all our guilt, all our crimes, all our grief, died, and then conquered death by coming back to life. 4. What does this mean? Jesus took all the consequences of sin on himself so we can be free and be close to God so that when God looks at you to judge your life, he sees Jesus sacrifice, he sees a perfect human, a child of God. 5. How do you become a Christian? Let Jesus take your sins upon himself and let him carry you. Believe in your heart that Jesus is God and accept his gift of forgiveness. Let your heart be transformed and reborn with God's love and sacrifice to bring you back to life! If you prayed to Jesus to become a Christian and give your life to Jesus, Hallelujah! God is good!

For those that are curious, here is a small freezer with frozen dinner boxes. I am too stressed to cook so I mostly eat frozen meals or order take out from fast food restaurants.

I'm curious in Japan, when you are stressed and depressed and need to eat but don't want to cook, what do you do? In America, you can buy meals that are frozen and reheat it in the microwave. It's not healthy, but it's easy and only takes a few minutes. Do you have that in Japan?

Me too unfortunately. There are days when I have no energy to take a shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, or even sometimes get off the couch. My house is always a mess because I don't have the energy or motivation to clean. I don't have any pets because I figured if I can't take care of myself, I don't want to have a pet if I can't take care of it well and give it a good life. But I really wish I could be surrounded by cute Japanese cats sometimes!

For my Japanese friends that are struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide. You are not alone. Many Americans have these problems too, myself included. Therapy and Medicine is very common here. I take antidepressants, and vitamins and female hormone pills because my ovaries don't work very well. So I have lots of bad days too. I am sick at home all day and I can't do anything and my husband has to do everything for me and I feel useless and ashamed for being so messed up and broken. However, even though I wanted to give up many times and die, God kept me alive and gives me hope to keep going. And I wonder if my purpose was to tell my new Japanese friends about God's love and that there's hope. The only reason I'm still alive is because God loves me. That's why I'm a Christian.
