Agency - Normally there's financial backing, managers, editors, etc. (Depending on budget ofc)
Group - just... a group of friends who want to stream together basically.

Exactly. I don't get it either. A lot of agencies are scummy I'll admit that. But don't join an agency if you can't meet the terms. Part of why I didn't want to join an agency (Not that I got any requests lol) when I was still a vtuber was because I knew I couldn't do it.
