Most communities don’t fail because they lack ideas.
They fail because managing money becomes chaos. One wallet➜ One person in control➜ No transparency➜ No structure➜ No trust. And over time… everything starts to break. That’s the gap @Splizapp is stepping into. Instead of forcing communities to “figure it out,” Spliz turns shared funds into something structured, transparent, and actually usable. Think:
• Clear visibility on funds
• Easier coordination between members
• Reduced reliance on a single point of control
• A smoother way to manage contributions, expenses, and decisions It’s not trying to be a complex treasury protocol. It’s something much more practical a mini treasury layer built for how communities actually operate. Because not every group needs a DAO-level system…
but every group needs clarity around money. That’s where Spliz wins. Quietly positioning itself as the go-to treasury tool for communities that just want things to work.

At first, @Splizapp looked like just another bill-splitting app to me. You know the kind of product people use when they go out with friends, one person pays, and the rest need to send their share back. Simple use case. But the more I looked at it, the more I started seeing something bigger. A lot of communities today, especially online communities, creator teams, and even friend groups, deal with the same issue: managing shared money. It could be funds for a community event, contributor payments, group travel plans, giveaway budgets, or even something as simple as people contributing for a birthday gift. Most times, everything is handled manually. ✯ One person holds the money. ✯ Someone else keeps track in chats. ✯ People keep asking who has paid and who hasn’t. ✯ At some point, screenshots become the proof system. That works when the group is small, but once the community starts growing, it becomes stressful. This is why I think @Splizapp can become the go-to mini treasury tool for communities. Because the real problem is not just splitting payments. It’s helping groups manage shared funds in a way that is clear, transparent, and easy for everyone involved. Instead of relying on one person to track everything, the process becomes structured. Everyone can see what was contributed, what has been settled, and what is still outstanding. For communities, this is actually a big deal. The stronger a community gets, the more important financial coordination becomes. Whether it’s creator collectives, X communities, Discord groups, or event teams, having a simple treasury layer can remove a lot of unnecessary friction. That’s why I think @Splizapp is moving beyond just a utility app. It’s starting to position itself as infrastructure for community finance.

A true live story, what the world actually needs, and how you can position yourself early. So, a guy went out with 3 friends in Montreal. Uber, tickets, dinner, the whole night tracked perfectly. Everything was logged. Next morning, it was time to settle up. And… it all broke. One friend could only use Interac (Canadian banks). The Brazilian friend wanted Pix. And the guy? Bank transfer would’ve taken days and cost fees. Tracking was perfect. Settling… impossible. It’s one of those situations everyone has faced: splitting expenses is easy. Collecting money? A nightmare. Especially when people are in different countries, using different apps, paying in different ways. That’s what sparked @Splizapp ⚡ Here’s how it actually works: Everyone approves their share before anything moves. If someone doesn’t approve, nobody gets charged. One tap, and all balances are settled at once, no chasing, no confusion. Settlements happen in USDC on Base, near-instant, near-free, no banks required. Wallet created automatically via Google or Apple. Already have one? Connect it. No seed phrases, no crypto knowledge needed. Your keys can be exported anytime. Basically: it just works. Gas? Dont worry. Hidden fees? None. This isn’t about crypto for the sake of crypto. It’s about solving a real problem that hits almost everyone: paying friends across borders without stress. If you’ve ever been stuck chasing friends across 3 different payment apps just to get your money back… this is exactly what the guy wished existed that morning. Now it exists for all of us. Testnet is live. Mainnet coming soon. Check it out: spliz.app
