🌿🗺️ Hima in Lebanon’s Spatial Memory 🇱🇧 Did you know that Hima was officially recorded in Lebanon’s 1960s topographic maps? 📜 Historic surveys show “Hima” place names across the country, often linked to springs 💧, forests 🌳, and grazing lands 🐑.

🔍 By re-reading these maps with modern GIS, Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon is turning spatial memory into scientific evidence, confirming Hima as a national, community-based conservation system.
