Yesterday, I met with Peteru 'Omo Iya Eleja' in my office and I was truly inspired by this young man. He took to the streets encouraging residents to clean their surroundings during the monthly sanitation exercise, driven purely by a sense of civic duty and community responsibility. He told me that a clean environment is directly tied to public health and that doing his country job requires no financial reward. This is the spirit that built Lagos and this is the spirit that will sustain a #CleanerLagos and a #GreaterLagos. The story of Peteru should inspire all of us. We celebrate him.

An energetic Nigerian, Peteru Omo Iyaeleja, has taken to the streets of Lagos to encourage residents to participate in cleaning their surroundings as the Lagos State sanitation exercise begins. #lagosstatesanitation

Tatalo Aremu is from Jáláruru Compound in Ìbàdàn, and he is actually the uncle of Obesere, which reflects a strong musical lineage within the family. Tatalo's style of music is dundun and sẹkẹrẹ. In that same space, there was Amuda Agboluaje, a protege of Tatalọ, who express himself with dundun and sekere as well that you may not be able to tell them apart. Then there was Durojaye Aremu, known for “Adamon Ife,” alongside Adeleke Aremu from Ìlà-Oràngún, and Adedara known for Adamon Ìjẹ̀ṣà; each of them contributing uniquely to the richness of Yoruba traditional music with deep language and cultural depth. That said, while all these names carry weight and sound like, their styles reflect pure, rich Yoruba expression, but in my opinion, none quite comes close to Odolaye Aremu of Ilorin, ọmọ Olúpọ̀. He stands out, lyrically powerful, humorous, effortlessly throwing subtle jabs, and consistently entertaining. What makes him even more remarkable is the timelessness of his music. You can listen to the same track repeatedly, and it still feels fresh. Some lines and expressions take years to fully grasp, which speaks to the depth of his craft. Personally, I’ve built quite a collection of his works, both live performances and recorded albums and I’m still actively adding more.

@Arugboboisi_Sam There was a columnist with the name "Tatalo Aremu", he had a page on The Nation and I read him religiously back then in the Newspaper days. Don't know if he's related to Odolaye Aremu cause I'm always mistaking both for the other.

The fact that I do help people to grow their X accounts doesn't mean I've arrived or don't need help from others to help me grow too. I'm not there yet & I really want to become big account handler too. I do appreciate & love everyone who helps me grow to help others grow too.

Right from my youth, I determined what I wanted to be. My father is a tailor, but he didn’t allow me to do much; I had to be in his shop selling buttons. It was from there that I got my passion, and I have done it very successfully, and with my mother’s support, I have no regrets. But children nowadays have their own ideas, they hardly listen to you. They want things done their own way, which is not really working. A lot of my senior boys and girls do not want to follow me, they want to do things on their own. - Industrialist Chief Rasak Okoya

This day in 2021, I taught “Òjígípẹ̀katùfù lorúkọ tí wọ́n ń pe Ori…” at Oyotunji village in North Carolina, nearly all the students in class began to cry, 29 people. I taught it again at Clemson University, same experience. A Yorùbá teaching on Ori will make you understand your assignment better. Young people need it.

There is also a Train Station in ABUJA Airport. The Egypt you are talking about sold part of their country to the UAE to fund projects in the country. If Nigeria should try to sell any part of the country to fund projects, you people will talk about it everyday here.

I will still cool down to tell my story but leaving Nigeria for the first time in my life made me realize how bad we have it here. Bro train station dy inside Qatar Airpot. Like the Airport is so massive that they have a train inside the Airport. Bro even Egypt go far.
