Randy is supposed to be the bad guy but he was getting cheered. Cody being the face of the company (like Cena for so many years) is getting mixed reactions. So they had to bring someone in to help get Randy heat. They are probably hoping since Pat is nowhere near a royal wrestling family will make people mad and get them boos. Plus Roman and punk both are being seen as baby faces right now and Roman just has to call punk old.
