well that was fast! just met with a studio head for a really cool game said the team was super impressed with my work and would love to have me, talking with everybody more on monday. fully remote, great pay, hard problems to solve chat we are so back 🥹

hey I know I’ve been negative today. but I wanted to share a positive update about myself. I’m going to college!! I recently left my job to pursue (the same) career but to become a fully qualified primary school teacher!! Next 4 years gonna be crazy asff

@OKKOTSU_S01 I started my first year at college a couple months ago and since then I’ve just naturally not had an urge to play. I can’t keep up anymore. It really is sad because this game used to literally be my life.

today has been a whirlwind of emotions. thank you, genuinely, to everyone that’s reached out to me today (a former coworker even sent me a milkshake). i’m still going through them all (and will continue to do so). reading how much you all appreciate my work has been so surprising and uplifting on such a shitty day. i’m really, really going to miss making cool stuff happen for our players. that was the guiding principle behind everything i ever did. seeing how many of my former colleagues are as confused as i am about my departure is definitely validating too. i’m very grateful (and thankful) to also already have many studio leads and recruiters reaching out about roles they’d like me for. i’m gonna go grab a beer and watch the rest of the canes game. 💚🦖

This is honestly one of the worst days on my time here on Twitter. I've been away from the community for the past few months , My interest in the game dropped a lot in the past couple of years , i have a lot going on in life But i've been feeling sad , sick , angry and terrible all day couldn't really focus or carry on with anything after i saw the news , i don't even really know why , however i'm truly grateful for all the work and effort and everything these devs have done to us and to this game that i've once loved a lot , it turns out you guys really mattered as much as the game did.. at least for me

I was laid off today after 2 years Epic Games. If you enjoyed the maps in C7S2 or C6S3, The Simpsons mini-season map, or IP collabs like KPOP Demon Hunters, Superman, South Park, Doja Cat, and more, I was the Lead Environment Art and/or Environment Concept Producer for them.
