@bendarwin I agree. However I guess the powers that be don't want to see endless scrum resets throw forcing the hand of the refs.

In my very limited experience i would reckon 90% of the time a scrum collapses there is no one at fault at all. It feels like we find a reason to give a penalty.

Dear @rugbyworldcup, Can we please just go back to having proper ballots. You know, we register for what games we want & then get drawn out of a hat. We get what we get then. You can the sell what's left. And you won't have all of us bitching at you.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground ,arguably the greatest stadium in Australia and one of the best in the world is not included in the Rugby World Cup 2027 stadium list. Rugby Australia has been losing the battle for marquee venues to the AFL for years, and this time it may be losing out to the NFL as well. RA had a once-in-a-generation opportunity: a 100,000+ opening match and a World Cup final at the MCG ,events that would have shattered records and elevated rugby union in Australia to new heights. Instead, this is the reality. Wow #RWC2027 #Rugby

@BMcSport @ChalynRugby MCG might be the best in Australia, but it is a shit ground to watch rugby at. Just saying.

1. I can't think of what other stadium possibly wins the argument 2. RA played the 2nd Lions Test in front of a record rugby crowd at the MCG just six months ago, and filled "marque venues" around the country 3. RA don't make the decision about where RWC games are played, World Rugby does, and 4. WR announced Sydney would host the Final in Jan 2025, and the Perth would host the opener in Oct 2025, 2yrs out from the RWC As much fun as it is to pot RA, you've missed your mark several times here...
