Today the market showed clear directional movement in Nifty, and we executed our strategy with discipline and strong risk management. With a deployed capital of ₹1 Crore, Today’s Profit: ₹2.84 Lakhs That is approximately 2.84% return in a single trading day on deployed capital

Here is a one page snapshot and interpretation of the different bull and bear cycle behaviour in the past 35 years! From Jan 1991 to April 1992, just over one year time, Nifty gained over 318%!!!! That’s good, but; Next 11 years till Aug 2003, it was 0% return! Decade long consolidation. But those who were patient enough got rewarded in next 4 - 5 years. From May 2003 low to Jan 2008 high it was a mad 583% return… ! Unimaginable! After the 2008 crash, it took 5 years to break the 2008 once again in 2013. That’s a long time of wait and pain of correction for the ones who entered near 2008 high. This time it’s covid crash and bull run. Mar 2020 low to Sep 2024 high, it was another 250% return in 4.5 years! We still don’t know if it is the top for sometime or a midway correction during still ongoing bull run. But looking at the past data always helps us to understand the potential of the market to move up or down madly or to consolidate in order to irritate impatient investors and traders. (NSE officially Launched in 1996, but back dated data available in NSE and Tradingview from 1990 onwards)  I’ve used the swing low and high as the reference points to project the magnitude of the moves and consolidations
