@vlahunter @uNetworkingAB is unfortunately blocked for their conduct. If they want to give permission to someone else to maintain it in our repo, we have absolutely no issue with that. Seems like a lot of people want to see their benchmarks, so I think that compromise works for us.

@vlahunter @uNetworkingAB We agree. Believe me, after a decade, it's not the easiest project to manage. The rules have changed hundreds of times over the years. As far as bringing back uwebsockets fw, I've mentioned in a few different places, I have no problem with that, it's just that person 1/2

@vlahunter @uNetworkingAB My response to that is open up an issue so that the community sees it and we can discuss it, which we've done hundreds of times. I don't really know what "cheat your way to the benchmark" means. We're not giving out prizes here.

@TFBenchmarks @uNetworkingAB What do you mean the maintainer cannot update it ? The round 22 has been done months ago. Also what is your response to what the maintainer said in early tweets that many benchmarks don’t comply with anything and just cheat their way to the benchmark so they are unrealistic?

@vlahunter @uNetworkingAB Harassment is not an opinion. If the framework maintainer wants to allow someone to maintain their framework for them in the benchmarks, that is totally fine. The only reason we removed the framework is because the maintainer can't update it and that's not fair to them.

@uNetworkingAB @TFBenchmarks Unbelievable… no matter the opinion or how harsh it is, you shall not ban a piece of technology from a benchmark. I thought that SWE is having Engineering in the name… engineering is based on criticism and measurements. Unbelievable!

@artillain It does appear that Bun will have some representatives in the newest round. We accept frameworks that don't use ORM's.

@TFBenchmarks Think you'll be able to fit Bun into the 2023 benchmarks? :) Also, would you test a PHP framework that doesn't have an ORM? because i have what i believe is a chart topper PHP framework i'd like to see ran through the test

We just got Citrine back online and we're going through a few full runs. You can see how things are going on tfb-status.techempower.com. If everything looks good after 2-3 runs, we'll set a date to lock PR's and get the next round out.

We are experiencing some issues with bringing the Citrine environment back online. While we troubleshoot, we are still accepting pull requests toward the next round. Hope to have a positive update soon.

Citrine is currently down maintenance but should return early next week. We plan on an official round release in August. If you've done work to improve your framework between rounds and would like to be featured in the official round blog, we'd love to hear from you!

All servers in our Citrine environment have been upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04.2 (5.15.0-67). Continuous benchmarking has started again.

We've been fighting "frameworks are cheating to be #1 in TFB" for almost a decade. Reddit posts about the legitimacy of the benchmark rankings and results are habitual. But this right here is why we do it.

@TFBenchmarks not sure if you are aware but the composite results are not rendering. on chrome/ubuntu 18 i see this error in the console.
