@SUPREMELY_TOPH / IN ALL HONESTLY toph was my second thought. i feel like they connected well (and while it definitely took aang time to learn earthbending), toph was a good teacher for him and i feel like she helped him connect with the world even more !

@SUPREMELY_TOPH / i think im gonna have to be corny and go with gyatso! i feel like a lot of aang's personality and who he is as a person came from gyatso's guidance and without it, i don't think he would've been the same as we know him in the show. BUT IDK 🤷‍♀️ 😭

@AQUAEVlTAE / i absolutely understand that! i've seen different opinions about it floating around and i haven't been able to make a solid judgement on it after seeing that, in some ways, her being remembered as a healer makes sense! at the end of the day, she loved to help people .
