@SECBarstool Kiffin had already coached at two high level programs and Drink hasn't beaten one elite SEC team yet.

Not many G5 head coaches have successfully made the immediate jump to the SEC. Drinkwitz and Kiffin have been the exceptions, and both got plenty of patience from their respective schools. Sumrall and Golesh both have potential to be great. Give them time.

What’s been pretty apparent to me for two weeks is that Lane Kiffin wants to coach at LSU next year, not Ole Miss. He just very desperately wants to coach in the playoffs first, something he can’t do if leaving. That’s the tension and the delay in making a decision. That’s it.
