With the rate at which Transsion launches phones each year, if they could offer good trade-ins it will be so good! As of now, no proper trade-in exists in Nigeria for major manufacturers.

I saw a thread on Nairaland accusing Xiaomi of falsifying this data. Thread is by a "data analyst". While it makes sense to hold brands accountable, if you will accuse them of falsifying data, there is burden of proof on you to provide the accurate data to disprove their claim. A simple email to Canalys should either verify or disprove the data since they're the quoted source. This is not a sponsored post by the way. I'm commenting on this cos I see the comments calling out creators for amplifying "false data". P.S - I emailed Canalys to confirm the data and they did, saying Xiaomi has their approval to publicise it.
