I can’t believe what you’ve become, let go of your ego. I once said that if Imam Mahdi were Shia, I wouldn’t remain Muslim. I’ve since reflected on that statement and asked for forgiveness. Who stood up when Muslims in Gaza were being slaughtered? While Saudi Arabia was holding concerts, Iran and Yemen stood with them, at least in the way they chose to respond and show solidarity, including actions linked to the Gaza situation. No matter how much I may disagree with Bajwa, I remember his account of meeting Khamenei to discuss peace between Saudi Arabia and Iran. When Khamenei questioned his role and intentions, Bajwa replied that he only wanted to bring peace between two brothers, upon hearing that, Khamenei stood up and embraced him. A thousand years of division and hostility will not unite the ummah. It’s time we renew our thinking and take meaningful steps toward peace between both sides.

Yes, during the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988), Israel was one of Iran's main clandestine arms suppliers. Sales totaled ~$500M (1981-83) per Tel Aviv University's Jaffe Institute, with some U.S. reports estimating up to $2B/year. This included F-4/F-5 jet parts, tires, anti-aircraft missiles, and TOWs—helping Iran sustain its air force and avoid early defeat. Motive: Iraq under Saddam was seen as the bigger threat to Israel. Paid partly in Iranian oil; also aided Persian Jewish emigration.
