Hey pals, had a bit of a health scare yesterday that is going to knock me out of covering the combine today. I’m fine but not 100%. Hate not being able to bring you coverage, but a lot of great folks who can. Thanks to @scottcwheeler and @coreypronman for the emergent assist.

Honestly, the #Blackhawks could be in on this. He plays a fast and responsible game that could fit nicely alongside the young talent there.
Bert is his best friend and he played for Blash on the #LGRW for a while.

I want nothing to do with trading Knies. I see him as a future captain and his skillset+size is a rarity these days…and he’s young, locked up and loves TOR
But if CHI wants to do something crazy like Frondell+4OA (and Reid’s available at 4 especially) are we not excited? #Leafs

Lot of young d trying to prove themself may not be the best environment for him

The clock is officially ticking on Jack Pridham's future with the franchise before Monday's massive deadline.
If he doesn't sign an ELC or commit to a college by Monday, he re-enters the NHL Draft…

Spoke with Jack Pridham (CHI) here this morning briefly. His June 1 deadline for a contract with the Blackhawks looms. Going to college would extend his rights. Or he can re-enter the draft.
He was noncommittal on what’s next: “I’m focused on the Mem Cup and where my feet are.”

The Blackhawks’ just have a cascade of quality prospects coming in the next 3-5 years.
Those prospects will all be on ELCs and the players on the team now will be at or near their prime.
Thats how you have a contender for many years to come.

@ThatFio @NHLRumourReport Well no, they got 2 NHL ready players one being a high end D prospect being one of the best young prospects in the NHL and a 1st round pick guaranteed. This is a lesser D prospect by a wide margin and a high draft pick

@PapiLeafs34 @NHLRumourReport You mean the guy that's older, has dealt with serious injuries, and has been severely trending down the last few years? It obviously depends team to team. Rebuilding teams value youth, established teams need centers.

@ThatFio @NHLRumourReport According to Chris Johnston and the NHL GMs he talked to some view him higher value than Austo Matthews so maybe you don’t see the value but based on reports the other NHL GMs do
