@ava_lamp As someone who plans on hosting asmr streams in the future, it hurts me to see that many people assume that it’s a cheat to be successful on twitch is disrespectful. It takes lots of effort and time to be successful at asmr. And most importantly, enjoying the process.

I really dislike when people say ASMR is a “cheat” to success on Twitch. People who do ASMR put a lot of heart and effort into what they do. I personally did a lot of research before I started streaming ASMR. After a few months I made the choice to split my content to have an ASMR only channel with a character that I built specifically for ASMR. I did market research and data collection to find the best time to stream, what type of characters succeed, what type of triggers, length of stream, how to monetize, and more. With my ASMR streaming experience and the data I had I was able to build a strong brand that ASMR viewers enjoy. I have had much more success with my new channel than I ever did streaming ASMR as Ava. With a brand new channel I have gotten to 200ccv without raids in under 10 streams. The research and effort is a big part of my success. I have a nice voice, but on its own it isn’t enough to succeed. ASMR isn’t a cheat it’s content just like anything else and you shouldn’t devalue the work creators put into it.

Hi everybody! To those who were wondering where I’ve been, I sincerely apologize. I was studying nonstop and was doing clinical rotations. I’m studying to be an ultrasound tech and it took a toll on me both physically and emotionally.

The academic workload was so heavy that even after finishing my assignments and clinical rotations, it left me very little time to sleep and decompress (which is why I haven’t streamed in months). I’ll be taking a break from college as I need to take care of myself.
