My girlfriend then (Now ex) will always ask me if my best friend was aware that he was my best friend. The question always sounds weird to me but I'd dismissed it. I got mad too cos I was tired of her having issues with him for no reason. In the heat of the argument, she sent me multiple explicit pictures of him he had been sending to her. Before I could process what I was seeing, she sent in screenshots of their conversations, the terrible things he had said about me to her and how he was a better choice than me. Apparently, she had been wanting to tell me about it for long but she saw how blinded I was about the brotherhood, so she needed a solid evidence. Did I confront him over it? lol nah Till date, I never mentioned it to him, I just drifted away from the friendship. This happened in 2017 but I still keep in touch (both of them) till date.
