Today I came to a big realization. Since early 2022, I’ve been trading NFTs and was exceptional at it. I turned 1 ETH into hundreds. My win rate was insane, probably over 95%. I could read emotion, time momentum, and scalp singles, doubles, and triples. It felt easy. I loved the grind. Then Trump Coin dropped. The NFT market nuked, as did our coins. Everyone remembers January through April, pure pain. Collections fell 50% or more in days. What always worked before, buying fear and selling pumps, stopped working. Now demand is gone. Even huge announcements from BAYC or Pudgy Penguins barely move floors. NFT strategy tokens are down 75% or more, and the NFTs are down even more. Since August it’s been nonstop dumping, the NFT Exodus. I did what I always did: bought the dip. 15, 13, 12 ETH. “No way it goes lower,” I thought. Then it did. Leverage made it worse. Interest stacked. You tell yourself, “It’ll bounce.” It doesn’t. Part of holding is sunk cost fallacy, part pride. I hate losing. But pride gets expensive. Sometimes cutting losses matters more than chasing gains. You can lose money 10x faster than you make it. You have to respect the black swan, and this was it. People getting liquidated, portfolios wiped. I’ve lost near seven figures myself. Brutal truth. At some point, you have to look in the mirror, eat the loss, consolidate, and rebuild smarter. No more overtrading. No more leverage. Just hold what you believe in and move forward clean. Maybe I’m crazy. Maybe I’m emotional. Or maybe I just needed to get this off my chest. Lmao. Hoping this helps other traders and holders realize they aren’t alone. Hopefully you can learn from me.

It’s funny because “The Trenches” is actually the perfect name for it You are all soldiers and 99% of you will die on the frontlines whilst getting the weapons manufacturers (launchpads, tg bots) endlessly wealthier They need to encourage you to continue fighting on the front lines for them to get wealthier

if you want to use leverage just deploy it into strength… no point consistently trying to leverage long something like $XRP right now, clear downtrend, DCA spot if you want exposure. don’t get caught up thinking “it has to go straight up” because it had strength a few days ago
