It'll be interesting to dig in and see why there was such a big drop-off in productivity in Pacheco's game the last two seasons. Methinks losing an All-Pro guard probably had something to do with it last year. But that alone doesn't explain it.

The Lions made an OC hire before the OC market really even opened up. There was 10 HC openings, which meant 10 OC openings. Most of these teams haven’t even started interviewing guys yet. You have no idea what his market was going to be. Class, what do we do when we assume?

It's absolutely hilarious how @EvanPetzold breaks a story (the Tigers 19.8 million offer to Skubal) and then the Tigers run to Chris "Officer Barbrady" McCosky to give him their side of the story and Barbrady just slops it up and provides their defense. It's embarrassing. He is more of a shill than the team's own MLB reporter. And he has been doing it for over 25 years for EVERY Detroit team he has covered. An embarrassing propagandist masquerading as a beat reporter.
