@DauntlessM30875 Okay.
Just so you know, women have hidden themselves, you can quite tell the fake from the original.

Cheating is absolutely a choice, lust, impulsive behavior, rather than a mistake. Stop listening to any excuse. Cutting them off is the only way.
Because the moment you entertain their explanation, you've already begun negotiating your own worth.
A mistake is forgetting an anniversary. A mistake is saying the wrong thing in an argument. Cheating is a sequence of deliberate decisions, choosing to pursue, choosing to engage, choosing to hide it. There is nothing accidental in that chain.
What follows is always the same. The tears, the "I don't know what I was thinking," the "it meant nothing." Maybe some of that is even true. But remorse doesn't rewrite facts. And your empathy was never meant to be the price you pay for their selfishness.
Here's what they won't tell you: the excuse is not for you. It's so they can feel less like the person who did it. You are not responsible for managing their guilt while surviving their betrayal.
Cutting them off is not cruelty. It is refusing to build your future on a foundation that already cracked under the weight of who they chose to be.
You don't heal by staying close to the wound. You heal by walking away, and never looking back long enough to give them another chance to do it again.
