@TheCinesthetic Really under appreciated. Solo got the closest to the feel of the Original Trilogies, and had Indiana Jones vibes.

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) keeps getting dismissed over a thirty-second origin gag, while the rest of the film just moves. Train heist, Donald Glover locking into Lando & a crew dynamic that actually clicks. It never really got judged on what it is.

@TheCinesthetic It wasn’t terrible, but they still should have stopped at the trilogy. Die Hard with a Vengeance was a great movie.

Live Free or Die Hard (2007) is better than the franchise reputation it gets stuck with. The practical stunts, and the McClane–Justin Long dynamic give it real personality. The fifth film collapsed the brand, but this one doesn’t belong in that category.

Speaking of being hung upside down naked, Corcoran sued the producers alleging she was promised 1% of all merchandising and film profits for the whole Terrifier franchise for doing that scene.
She also alleges she didn't provide the written consent SAG requires for nude scenes.

In the infamous scene where Dawn is hung upside down naked, actress Catherine Corcoran was only held upside down for 42 seconds at a time—an oddly specific time—so that she didn't die from being held upside down too long.

@TrilogyPodcast the main thread of the original trilogy was NOT obi wans relationship with anakin. and luke was a nobody from nowhere when a new hope was released. that vader was his father was written for the next movie.

It made no sense for her to be the main character of a Skywalker saga trilogy as a nobody. The main thread of the original and prequel trilogies was Obi-Wan’s relationship and rivalry with Anakin. The sequels were rudderless because they scrapped that concept, and wrongly thought the main thread had been the rise and fall of the Empire.

The Last Jedi "destroyed" Luke's character by having him "try to kill Ben" (which didn't happen BTW) when he had been determined to bring Vader back to the light. And yet the movie clearly knows this. And ironically, it is Rey, the character you hate SO MUCH, that reminds him.
