In a Spanish 1987 game called "The Abbey of Crime" there are some sections where you need to attend a chant, it will play Schubert's "Ave Maria", but if the game is a pirated version, instead of Ave Maria playing it will play an on-loop audio of someone saying "pirata".

I’ve never seen a company catch the name of the game they Frankensteined together after firing all its creatives, change a game’s title because they felt made fun of. 10/10 cinema.

@Tomgradep My thoughts exactly! In my experience, a lot of this content is extremely sex negative in its own right. Fanservice, far from confronting this ideology, is one of its clearest manifestations. Besides, sexual or not, I just think fanservice is terrible lol (the name says it all)

@UnderRealLife I see what you mean. I guess I'm used to the idea of accepting fanservice as the catch-all term through which anime tackles sexual content, which in and on itself carries serious connotations of how sexual content is handled in the first place.
