Official Update from the ZKAI Team After a long period of effort, innovation, and community support, we have made the difficult decision to close the ZKAI project. After spending the last few days reviewing every possible path forward, it became clear that the past few weeks have taken a heavy toll. Revenue dropped significantly, and we found ourselves personally covering expenses to keep things afloat. We pushed through every challenge, funding development, covering infrastructure, and reinvesting more than 60% of ZKAI’s revenue on buybacks to support the chart, but as the revenue continued to decline, it could no longer sustain both operations and market stability. Continuing under these conditions just isn’t viable anymore. All existing tools and applications, including SecureGPT, our privacy agents, and the Edge AI iOS app, will remain operational for as long as it is feasible for us to maintain them. However, no new updates or feature developments will take place going forward. This is not the outcome we envisioned, but it reflects the challenges that come with building independent privacy-first AI infrastructure in today’s ecosystem. We are deeply grateful to everyone who believed in our mission and contributed in any way. To everyone who supported, contributed, and stood by us, thank you.
