🔴On the occasion of International Workers’ Day we are sharing the Joint Statement issued by the IACHR’s REDESCA @DESCA_CIDH and the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association @UN_SPExperts "Collective action by workers as a safeguard of labor rights" REDESCA and the Special Rapporteur call on States to guarantee, without discrimination or reprisals, the full exercise of freedom of association, collective bargaining, peaceful protest, and the right to strike, as indispensable conditions for the realization of labor rights, social justice, and democracy.
