Pupils used concrete resources to deepen their understanding of fractions, using pencils to represent amounts and cups to show groups. ✏️ A hands-on approach that supported engagement, reasoning and secure learning. #AdaptiveTeaching #SEMH #SHA #maths

A brilliant example of peer support today as our secondary pupils helped a primary pupil during a bug hunting activity to support regulation. 🐞 They were fantastic role models, using patience and encouragement to help guide the pupil towards a calmer, safer mindset. #SEMH #SHA

Pupils made great use of our continuous provision doodle table today, taking purposeful brain breaks to reset and refocus. ✏️ A simple but effective way to support wellbeing, creativity and readiness to learn. #SEMH #SEN #ContinuousProvision

Pupils worked independently on their English tasks across a range of learning spaces, showing excellent focus and engagement. Adaptive teaching supported each learner to access the work in a way that suited them, helping everyone to succeed. #AdaptiveTeaching #Writing #SEMH #SHA

Reach + class had a amazing day out at just ride Southend , riding some adapted bikes ,some like the trikes , others enjoy 2 wheeled and others peddling with their hands ,then off to the Boundary for a picinc, then on to park to build on friendships . #justridesouthend

Reach + Class .... In RHSE , the class analysed a range of emotions ,by making a spider graph and studying photos , and explained what emotions they thought were shown. #RHSE #emotions #SEMH

Pupils in Star Class took part in a board game during their RSHE lesson, exploring different dangers and risks while learning how to make safe choices. They demonstrated fantastic turn-taking, as well as great social and communication skills throughout the activity. ⭐ #SHA #SEMH

Our primary pupils enjoyed some sunshine at the local park, taking part in activities that supported their social skills, safety awareness and personal development. ☀️ A great opportunity for fresh air, teamwork and enrichment beyond the classroom. #SHA #SEMH #SEN

Reach + Class had a fantastic cooking lesson today , each pupil made classic jollof rice , the room smelt amazing , pupils tidied up the work surfaces , washed , wiped and put away , well done class.

While Year 11s focused on their exams, our primary pupils were busy in the classroom making rice crispy cakes during their Food Tech lesson. 🍫 They practised measuring, mixing and teamwork as they created their tasty treats. #Primary #SEMH #FoodTechnology
