Sicario is such a great film because the audience is led to believe Emily Blunt is the main character, and at the end you find out she was only there due to a legal technicality and they brought her because she had no clue what was actually happening. Phenomenal film.

One of the only good female led action thrillers this century was Sicario. But that was great because Emily Blunt’s character was not an indestructible girlboss. She was easily overpowered by stronger men. They wrote that into the story, which added tension and suspense to every scene.
