The measurement tendency you're describing isn't vital and has never applied to 100% of humans. It's a malleable & adopted perspective that people can enter or exit.

@kimmonismus Totally irrelevant. Humans measure their self-worth and "wellbeing" as a relative measure vis a vis the mean. Otherwise we'dve maxxed out ages ago, the poorest ppl in society live better than Kings from barely 300 years ago.
