HBO tenía una opción de casting perfecta. Ewan Mitchell sería increíble como Snape; es un gran actor, da el perfil, es británico (a diferencia de Adam Driver) y tiene una edad muy parecida a la del personaje. Snape tenía 31 años en el primer libro, y Ewan tiene 29.
