@theOXperiment @padrespod Well you said “every year.” 90+ wins the last two seasons; starting 7-0 last season and likely a similar tweet in April was sent. If the idea is to only root/praise teams that wins it all, that’s 29 fan bases that shouldn’t watch their team play/root for. Right?

@padrespod Dude, the Padres do this every year. When are you going to learn? They don’t have the stamina to battle all year and finish. Just enjoy the games and stop comparing stats in the first 3 weeks of a season. It’s freakin April for God sakes.

I don’t watch or follow soccer so I legitimately have zero idea who either of these 2 people are but from what I’ve seen this is easily the worst option the Padres could have been sold to. Everything I’ve seen so far from Chelsea FC fans is very negative about this guy. Not good!

@23cmcpadres It’s funny because they do spend loads of money but soccer is odd. There’s way more turmoil. I have no real knowledge but in my opinion, there’s zero correlation between owning European soccer teams compared to North American sports. They are mad at who they spent money on.

@andybolin2 As a really big soccer fan and Chelsea fan, these two absolutely destroyed that team and club. Honestly, my issue isn’t necessarily with the new owners, but with private equity. 🚩
