It is with great excitement that Marine Drive Golf Club announces the hiring of Padraic O’Rourke as our next Director of Golf. Padraic brings a wealth of experience from Pine Valley Golf Club, Ballybunion Golf Club and most recently the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club.

No wonder women’s golf continues to lag way behind: It’s the final round of a major being played at an iconic venue & we can’t even watch it unfold in its entirety. Golf fans deserve better… And the @LPGA players DAMN SURE deserve better. #KPMGWomensPGA 🏆

Some impressive numbers involving our @PGAofBC Pro’s…PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS had 36 courses (province wide participating.) To date, $201,000 has been raised and since #ALSGolfAThon inception 16yrs ago, $2,275,375 has been raised! Sincere thanks to everyone for your efforts!

The Golfathon for ALS keeps making a bigger impact every year! Our sincere thanks to all PGA of BC Professionals and friends of the Association who participated in Golfathons in 2021, and to all who donated in support of @ALS_BC.

A little piece of advice for parents: kids don’t know fear on the golf course when they start. We as adults introduce them to it. As they advance, let them make those mistakes that look like it’s too risky. Playing golf without fear is the goal.
