There are some friends you meet physically who are very energetic and jovial, with lots of gist. They keep talking and smiling like you haven’t seen each other in years. But the moment they get back home, you won’t hear from them, they won’t text or call. They’re terrible at reaching out unless you do first. Yet, when you meet again, the same energy comes back. Sometimes I wonder what’s wrong with this set of friends. 🤣

Chef T is currently receiving so backlash for promoting Knorr recent product, which is a cooking nylon bag that makes your cooking meat faster. Although, she claims the cooking bag is a good grade nylon made from Polyamide, and it is safe for cooking up to 204 degrees. Will you be trying this ?

The way Nigerians bastardize Care Work in the UK 🇬🇧 makes me wonder if classism was transported there too. During my last visit, a friend of mine was so ashamed to open up that he does Care Work. I was really pissed off. As a CARER or HCA, you are a core part of the MDT just as the Nurse or Doctor.

I absolutely loved Mirrors and Reflections by @BimboAdemoye such a brilliant storyline, honestlyyy! But looking at it from a real-life legal perspective, Section 22 of the Legal Practitioners Act (as amended, 2014) clearly wouldn’t support what Ifeoluwa did with Ifedayo’s profession. Regardless of how identical they were as twins, stepping into her sister’s role as a lawyer without being qualified is still impersonation. Which raises an interesting question. If she later goes on to study law and becomes qualified, does that validate anything she did before? Would the judgment in that murder case still stand, and was the partnership with Apex Legal ever legitimately earned? cc @tunde_naija

I’m honestly baffled by the misinformation spreading under this tweet. Some people actually think you can’t get your visa cancelled for exceeding the 20-hour work limit during term time. Just because UKVI doesn't catch everyone immediately doesn't mean it’s legal. Many students have already been caught and deported for this exact reason. It’s a bolded condition on your visa for a reason, We shouldn't be encouraging others to bypass the rules of a country that welcomed us. Let's stop normalising lawlessness before it ruins things for everyone.

I just came across a guy that came into the uk in January on student visa, he has been given 1 month to leave the country, because he did over 40hrs of work 😩, why would someone do that, after all the money spent. Been telling my friend, please don't do anything that is against the rule, it's not worth it.
