Another day another call out post on furry twitter. Just trying to save anyone the headache and money ive lost from @/ABearFromSpace. I commissioned a acrylic badge in 2024 at AC since then it’s been nothing but pulling teeth to get answers and all I’ve gotten is a sketch🧵

@boof_loop Sorry to hear you're experiencing this ... Much like your experience, I commissioned an acrylic badge as well at FWA 2025 and still dont have it with FWA 2026bisbright around the corner. Supposedly it is finished but at this point, I'm skeptical ...

ARTIST BEWARE. do not commission ABearFromSpace! my boyfriend has been waiting 3 YEARS for his badge and all he has ever gotten after constantly nagging him is a sketch. He paid over 400 bucks and is STILL waiting. If you notice, he never opens for commissions on social media because he knows he has a bad reputation. He will only open up in his private channels (that he doesn't allow comments on because he has so many negative reviews) and go to cons with a booth so that it's actually harder to look up his reviews so you can get suckered into paying for one of his overly expensive commissions and wait forever for any progress if any.

@boof_loop Honestly.. I use to be friends with Bear - I've known them for almost 5 years now and even I had an insane backlog of art, fursuit pieces, etc I've never received or got updates on. It got to the point that I just had to remove them and move on. Sorry this happened to you :(

@Lark_Barks Yeah, two months was what I was expecting when commissioning but at this point, I would really only commission people that I know/and are friends with. Just so i never have to go through this experience again unfortunately

@boof_loop Man this super sucks, I really hope you get a refund or your badge!! I commissioned them at FM2025, and had gotten my commission within 2 months, definitely not great to hear how many people they haven't delivered art for :[

@ABitMundane This is an example of the badge I thought I was gonna get at their booth, which is why I spent the $200 to commission it obviously the one I had gotten is nowhere near close to the quality this is.😅
