富士の樹海のど真ん中にある集落。 何故こんなところに？と疑問に思う程、怪しげな雰囲気に包まれている。 しかし想像とは裏腹に住んでいる方々は優しい人ばかりで民宿に泊まってみると、野趣満載の料理が楽しめる何度でも行きたくなる素敵な場所でした。

後脚のトゲが何か痛そうなルリモンハナバチ。実物を目の当たりにすると、予想以上にあちこち尖っている蜂だと思いました。(2025年8月の未現像より）

With a top speed of of 104 mph and designated the fastest tank in the world, the Christie M1931 "Combat Car" was an experimental wheel-to-track vehicle built in the early 1930s. It used helical coil spring suspension and could convert from tracks to large road wheels in about 30 minutes. It was powered by a 338 hp Liberty V-12 aircraft engine. Cavalry versions mounted a .50 caliber heavy machine gun with a coaxial .30 caliber machine gun. Around 7-9 units were produced from 1931 to 1932. The Army retired them by 1936 due to high costs and mechanical complexity.
