The aborting of babies with Down Syndrome is a population level project, though. The genetic testing and the abortions are heavily encouraged by the state and medical establishment. People report feeling pressured into it even.

I hate the way that dipshit online lefties expand eugenics to include any reproductive choice. Eugenics is a population level project. It is enacted through policy and coercion. One couple deciding they don’t have the means to care for a disabled child is not eugenics.

People don’t seem to understand how hostile society is to families with disabled children You think they get extra support to raise these kids, reality is they actually get LESS because all the societal infrastructure (childcare, education) won’t accommodate your child

If you’re not ready to have a disabled child, then you’re not ready to have a child at all.
A lot of y’all aren’t “pro choice” or “pro abortion”, you’re just pro eugenics and it shows.
