This rescue action by the Nigeria Police raises serious questions. How were they able to swing into action within a few days when many Nigerians have remained in captivity for weeks with little or no progress? 46 children and their teachers are still in captivity after weeks, yet this case was resolved almost immediately. Kudos to the police for the swift rescue because nobody deserves to go through such an experience. But this only reinforces the perception that when influential people are involved, the response is faster and more coordinated. The rescue proves that the capacity exists. The questions we’re asking is why the same urgency is not applied to every kidnapping case. One more thing, who was filming the rescue operation? Was it a phone or a camera crew or body cam ? 😂🎥
