Haathi Park at KCC Township was inaugurated formally on 22.02.2026 by Mr G D Gupta, ED and Unit Head, Khetri Copper Complex (KCC), in the presence of Mr Sanjay Shivdarshi, GM (Admin)-HR, Mr Manish Gavai, DGM (Civil), Mr Vipin Kumar Sharma, DGM (HR)-Admin, KCC, Sarpanch-Gothra Tehsil, employees and local residents of KCC Township. Haathi Park at KCC Township is a special community playground park developed under Special Campaign using scrap and unutilized items from KCC mines and plant. The park includes a big elephant ,Joker, swings, slides, pathways, exercise equipment and trash cans—all fabricated from repurposed materials to serve children and local residents. The materials used were salvaged metal, timber offcuts, discarded pipes, rope, iron rods, pillars and other non-functional plant and mine items were cleaned, treated, and reworked into play structures. The park also involved the cooperation of local people in its construction. Involving the reuse of scrap and other waste items in park construction not only has resulted in waste reduction but has also resulted in community amenity creation, and demonstrating a scalable best practice for public sector units. This approach aligns with the Special Campaign emphasis on disposal and productive reuse of obsolete materials and on showcasing best practices that improve local living standards. Under the initiative of the “TB Mukt Bharat Campaign,” TB screening camps are being organized in the mining areas of Khetri Mines, Khetri Copper Complex, a unit of Hindustan Copper Limited in Rajasthan. हिंदुस्तान कॉपर लिमिटेड (एचसीएल), खेतड़ी कॉपर कॉम्प्लेक्स द्वारा अपनी कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक दायित्व (CSR) योजना के अंतर्गत मां शारदा सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र, खेतड़ी में एक महत्वपूर्ण “टेलरिंग प्रोजेक्ट” का सफलतापूर्वक संचालन किया गया। इस परियोजना का क्रियान्वयन रामकृष्ण मिशन के सहयोग से किया गया। इस पहल का मुख्य उद्देश्य क्षेत्र की महिलाओं एवं आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्गों को कौशल विकास के माध्यम से रोजगार के अवसर प्रदान करना और उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर बनाना है। परियोजना के अंतर्गत कुल 60 सिलाई मशीनों का वितरण किया गया, जिससे प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त प्रतिभागी अपने कौशल का उपयोग कर स्वयं का कार्य प्रारंभ कर सकें या पारिवारिक आय में योगदान दे सकें। इस योजना से न केवल स्वरोजगार को बढ़ावा मिला है, बल्कि महिलाओं में आत्मविश्वास और आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण भी बढ़ा है। इससे अनेक परिवारों की आर्थिक स्थिति में सकारात्मक सुधार देखने को मिल रहा है। प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर सिलाई मशीन प्राप्त करने वाली महिलाओं ने इस पहल के लिए एचसीएल एवं केसीसी प्रबंधन के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार की योजनाएं उनके जीवन में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने में सहायक सिद्ध हो रही हैं और भविष्य में भी ऐसे प्रयास जारी रहने चाहिए। एचसीएल की यह पहल क्षेत्र में सतत सामुदायिक विकास, महिला सशक्तिकरण और समावेशी विकास के प्रति उसकी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है। #HindustanCopperLimited #CSRInitiative #copperprices #DigitalMining #MiningTechnology #MiningExcellence #MiningIndia @MinesMinIndia @kishanreddybjp @satishdubeyy @mygovindia

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), Khetri Copper Complex, recently successfully organized health camps at various locations across the rural areas of the region under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme, with the aim of making healthcare services more accessible. These health camps were organized at the KCC Hospital, Manota village; Dr. Vikas Khurana Hospital, Gothra village; Nanuwali Bawri village; and Dharmdada village. Free medicines were also distributed to all beneficiaries. In this same series of initiatives, a special eye-checkup camp was also organized, where people's eyes were examined, and necessary medicines as well as reading glasses (for near vision) were distributed. Furthermore, 20 cataract surgeries were successfully performed using the PC-IOL (Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens) technique, resulting in a significant improvement in the patients' vision. Through all these health camps, a total of 1,569 people received benefits.
