The idea is to turn long-term holding into steady and transparent income, and they built the entire system natively on Hyperliquid so users keep full control of their assets while everything runs on-chain with no hidden mechanisms. Covered calls are at the center of what they offer. A covered call is a simple agreement where you choose a strike price and an expiry, and you get paid a premium upfront for selling that option on assets like HYPE, ETH, or BTC. If the market stays below your strike, nothing happens, and you keep both your tokens and the premium. If the price finishes above your strike, your tokens are sold at that preset level, and you still keep the premium as income. It is a clean and predictable strategy that many traders use in traditional markets, and Hypersurface brings it on-chain in a way that is easy to understand. The idea is simple. If the price stays below your strike, you keep your tokens and the premium. If the price finishes higher, your tokens are sold at the strike, and you still keep the premium. Everything is settled physically and visible on HyperEVM. What makes Hypersurface different is that users control every part of the position. You decide when to sell, which strike to target, and how much risk you want. The system just executes cleanly, pays premiums upfront, and returns assets automatically at expiry. The team behind it gives even more confidence. One of the cofounders, Andrei Anisimov, is an ex-Coinbase engineer, and the project was a finalist at Base Batches, which brought a lot of investor interest and connections.
