Opened a JS project today that I hadn't touched for three whole months, in other words ancient. Horribly outdated packages, incorrect Node version, outdated tsconfig settings, incorrect Python version for gyp, needed major ESLint upgrade due to end-of-life support, etc etc. Fortunately I found a great utility for slashing through this horribly tangled JS jungle. With a simple: > pnpx taze major I was up to speed again with the latest dependencies. Thanks @antfu7 for such a simple and useful tool!

eslint-plugin-react-hooks@5.0.0 was just released with support for ESLint v9. No more need to use the RC when using ESLint v9. Full release notes: github.com/facebook/react…

The new @geteslint lines-between-class-members enforce option added in 8.49.0 is amazing, now I can group fields and raise error if they are separated

@datagrip many queries are very slow, the exec time is good but the fetching time is absurd, same query from other computer executed from Oracle SQL Developer is so faaaast: "500 rows retrieved starting from 1 in 1 m 12 s 659 ms (execution: 446 ms, fetching: 1 m 12 s 213 ms)""

@system76 The plastic bottle bent and the water ended up on the keyboard, immediately the q and : keys stopped working, I couldn't even exit VI and I was doing deploy on the production server...

Ok I'm studying Rust and my first projects is full of .to_string() and .clone(), no good but I can't find valid alternatives...#rustIsHard

svelte is awesome but the typescript integration is less complete than ReactJS, I prefer to stay with ReactJS

so now I must decide to start the new android project using the well known view based approach and focus on domain problem or use compose relearn everything I already know how to do and focus on technology instead of the customer needs :P

@mgechev when searching on large collections is a frequent task nothing beats (Set|Map).has() but honestly I prefer it also on small collections when I suspect the size can grow in the time, the overhead in small collection could be affordable and the app can handle it from the beginning

Tip: when operating over large collections using a Set could improve element look ups significantly ✨

@datagrip introspection level set to 3 but oracle views and tables source code is not visible or the column types are always 'unknown'. 'Modify Object' is unusable. Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition Release 12.1.0.2.0 and Oracle JDBC driver (ver. 21.1.0.0.0, JDBC4.2)
