@NimaZeighami This is cool. I’m guessing bipedal for stair movement? I know there are some wheeled solutions with the ability to go up staircases but this seems like the more versatile option maybe? It feels so far from being capable of actually doing the job though…

Very cool form factor for a cleaning robot! I do wonder why they chose the bipedal foot configuration of the LimX TRON1 instead of the wheeled configuration for this use case. Potentially a tradeoff between stability vs. speed?

@benz145 Agree. There has to be a lot of work around clever strategies to hide latency and still produce smooth and quick responses. It’ll probably be a combination of curated procedural and AI decision making. Also if not done locally it’s a constant cost incurred on the dev.

Hot take: the biggest missed opportunity in AI gaming isn’t NPC dialogue or a companion bot that gives you game tips. It’s competitive AI that can pass the “gamer Turing test” and play with behaviors that are indistinguishable from a human. With human-quality bots, every “dead” multiplayer game becomes playable forever. Matchmaking works even with tiny populations or bad regional splits. What’s stopping this today? Data scarcity? Poor cross-game generalization? Real-time decision latency?

“three-point problem: poor communication around the metaverse vision, high development costs, and an over-integration of Horizon Worlds with Meta’s VR strategy.” At least theres self reflection. Too bad he doesn’t also discuss actual course corrections.

Had a chance to try Metallica and Linkin Park Beat Saber packages yesterday. It was lots of fun. Reminds me that 8 years ago I modded a song I wrote “F#%& trees” to beat saber and it was a TON of fun!
