I don’t get why Arsenal fans want him to play in the midfield, he’s still raw in midfield specifics Lewis-Skelly is naturally, A defender , inverted fullback profile Playing midfield is different, Receiving under pressure centrally, Scanning constantly, Playing on the half-turn Risk profile on the ball in deeper midfield zones, One mistake = transition = big chance conceded and before you know it, Goal He’s confident, but sometimes, Holds onto the ball too long, Tries to force duels. That can’t work in the midfield especially in the Premier League He doesn’t have the Positional discipline, Midfield isn’t just energy, it’s Spacing, Timing, Knowing when to hold vs jump He might be physically capable, yes strong, aggressive.
