If you get sucked into bad content, that’s time taken away from a conversation you could be having elsewhere.

opencode 1.3.0 will no longer autoload the claude max plugin
we did our best to convince anthropic to support developer choice but they sent lawyers
it's your right to access services however you wish but it is also their right to block whoever they want
we can't maintain an official plugin so it's been removed from github and marked deprecated on npm
appreciate our partners at openai, github and gitlab who are going the other direction and supporting developer freedom

Calling: Builders. Entrepreneurs. What am I doing wrong?
Been working in SWE for over 15 years. Built products. Consulted. Worked for startups and big business. I understand the E2E product life cycle well.
I have to say, building a tool that I use every day (🔗in bio) but not converting (into free accounts) is very humbling.
Sent some traffic with ads, and my conversion rate into a free account ~0.5%.
What am I doing wrong? Would love feedback.

My mentor at my first dev job once told me: “You will never make it to Junior 2.” Why? Because I asked a question about a technology I had never used before. The next day HR and the CEO scheduled a call. I was fired for that same reason. Now imagine if I had a weak mindset. That moment could’ve convinced me I wasn’t good enough. That I should quit coding. But I didn’t. I laughed and kept going. 4 years later: • I have 3 apps making money • I code better than that mentor • I make more than I did at that job And more importantly, I learned things that job would never have taught me: Infrastructure. Security. Marketing. Finance. So in a way… they were right. I was never meant to make it to Junior 2. I was meant to be CEO and CTO of my own things.
