I could not help getting a little bit emotional on stream after my final game of Season 8.5 Black Widow. 🥲 I know it's only a virtual character and pixels on a screen, but just like majority of the other Widow mains I had grown passionately attached to her old playstyle. It was way more unique, valuable and fun to play in comparison to what her rework has brought.

@_lionsgaze if you aim it far away (so like diagonally) you can clear a wide range of distance in like a second! I’ve used it to reach point or my supports or the rest of my team quicker! but damage wise? no 😭

genuinely is there any use to this slam ability with widow😭

@dpswidow It depends, because I aim with the normal settings which I have at 325 and I was looking for the settings for close-up aiming but if I find it my settings would be (0.20)

so my current opinion on the widow rework is that i still miss ads, they haven’t exactly ruined the character just gutted her being a sniper except for ult, and i need to adjust my sensitivity because my old one is too high so if anyone has any new sensitivity tips… #rivalstwt

@weakestmozemain the kick has me really confused atm too because i think it’s bugged, the stun animation briefly applies sometimes and then they’re out of the stun before i can do anything

@dpswidow Her kick is useless too. Run up, flail your heel against their head for 5 damage, then get ripped in half immediately.

@TsuRaggy ooh you may be onto something here yeah. I think I’m going to have to play around with it and see because I’m struggling, I keep shooting left and right loll

@dpswidow Not necessarily a Rivals aim sensitivity trick, but what I did when I was adjusting mine for deadlock was decreasing it slightly (like .05), then playing a couple games with it like that. Slowly changing it will make adjusting feel more natural, as opposed to a larger decrease.

my first impressions of season 9 ▪︎ team-up system is very fun and engaging ▪︎ visual clutter can get overwhelming ▪︎ ult changes are a huge W ▪︎ bp & psylocke need a hotfix ▪︎ elsa and hela are insane ▪︎ jubilee is balanced and fun
